Kelechi Eze is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under Dr. Akujuobi at Prairie A&M University. He got his BS degree from the University of Nigeria and MS from Prairie View A&M University. His research interests include Internet of things security, wavelets and blockchain applications, Machine Learning, Reconfigurable computing and Cloud computing. His hobbies include traveling, bowling, listening to music, watching tv and cooking.

Tawab Attaie is pursuing BS in Management Information Systems at Prairie View A&M University. He is doing research on Malware Defenses and Network attacks. His research interests include Malware, Computer Networking, Phishing attacks and Intrusion detection/Prevention analysis.


Gbenga Gbenga S. Agunsoye

Gbenga Agunsoye is pursuing MS in Computer Science under Dr. Ahmed at Prairie View A&M University. He got his BS degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. His research interests are Cybersecurity, Wireless Networks, Smart IoT Sensing Systems, SDN and Network Security. He is currently working on developing solutions for Malware Defenses and Network attacks by using open source networking tools.
Renel Allen Renel Allen

Wireless systems in a wide range of propagation/fading environments, Autonomous systems, Information security

Renel Allen obtained his B.S.E.E degree from the Prairie View A&M University and he is currently pursuing his M.S.E.E degree. His faculty advisor is Dr. Annamalai. His research focus is on the development of unified analytical tools for efficient analysis and optimization of wireless systems in a wide range of propagation/fading environments. He is also involved in the design and development of an autonomous underwater vehicle for the RoboSub competition as well as mentoring of a multidisciplinary team of undergraduate juniors and seniors in development of underwater robotics. His other research interests include hardware design, power systems, and information security.
Paul Murphy Paul Murphy

Wireless Tracker, Wireless Security and Assistive Technologies

Paul Murphy started his education at Prairie View A&M University in the summer of 2015, attending the College of Engineering Enhancement Institute (CE2I) program and will be graduating with his B.S.E.E in spring 2019. He had the opportunity to undertake summer internships at GE Power (Atlanta, Georgia) and Raytheon Missile Systems (Tucson, Arizona) since his freshman year. Paul was named as The Most Outstanding Electrical Engineer in both his Sophomore and Junior years and has served on many executive boards in various organizations including the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Student Partnerships and Outreach Team, Prairie View Consulting Association, National Society of Black Engineers, Zeta Lambda Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, and most recently the Texas Kappa Chapter of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He is enrolled in the joint BS/MS degree program and will pursue his M.S.E.E degree at PVAMU starting Fall 2019. His faculty advisors are Drs. Annamalai & Chouikha. Paul’s research interests include design and development of a low-cost wireless tracker, wireless security and assistive technologies.
Aaron Brown Aaron Brown

Born on June 5, 1997 in Bamberg, Germany, Aaron Thomas Brown Jr. had lived in many parts of the world as a military dependent. After graduating from the Platte County High School, he began his collegiate career at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Electrical Engineering. During the last few years, he has received several accolades for academics including LSAMP Scholar, Intel Scholar, National Society of Collegiate Scholar as well as being inducted into several honor societies (Eta Kappa Nu, Kappa Alpha Psi, Epsilon Gamma Iota). Aaron is doing a summer internship at the Air Force Research Laboratory – Rome Research this summer. He plans to enroll in the joint BS/MS degree program and continue to obtain his Masters degree in cyber security. Aaron’s faculty advisors are Drs. Chouikha and Annamalai.

Johnny Turner, a Baytown native, is presently a Computer Engineering Undergraduate Senior at Prairie View A&M University. He has been admitted into the joint BS/MS degree program about a year ago and will commence his M.S.E.E degree after completing a summer internship at NASA in 2019. His advisors are Drs. Annamalai & Chouikha. Turner’s research interests include location technologies, Internet-of-Things and wireless network security.

Carlos Fernandez is currently an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Senior at Prairie View A&M University. He plans to enroll in the joint BS/MS degree program to pursue his M.S.E.E degree at PVAMU. His current advisors are Drs. Annamalai & Chouikha. His research interests are in quantum communications, wireless optical communications, and wireless physical layer security.
Vinh Pham Vinh Pham

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

Vinh Pham is currently a Computer Engineering Undergraduate Junior at Prairie View A&M University. Since being exposed to robotics about 7 years ago, his passion in this field has grown significantly as evidenced by him building numerous robots that compete at the FIRST Robotics Competition as well as his participation in building the next moon rover for NASA. His faculty advisors are Drs. Annamalai & Chouikha. His research interests include combining robotics technology and artificial intelligence, where robots could now generate navigational path on its own (in contrast to the traditional robots that have their paths and set points pre-programmed) and learn to optimize their path following.

Charles Stewart is presently an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Junior at Prairie View A&M University. One of his educational goals and/or short-term career ambitions includes him acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to independently design, construct, and program his own style of anthropomorphic robots. He is also currently involved in the control software development for an autonomous underwater vehicle. Charles's faculty advisors are Drs. Annamalai & Chouikha. His research interests include robotics and control, autonomous systems, Internet-of-Things, and cybersecurity.
