Privacy Technologies Education Workshop (PTEW 2019)

The two-day workshop invites faculty who are interested in cybersecurity education and have had the experience of teaching security related courses from the educational institutions in U.S.

The workshop will feature innovative course module introduction and hands-on lab activities on privacy technologies, including: Location Privacy, Privacy in Online Social Networks, and IoT Security & Privacy. The workshop will also invite speakers from industry and academia. This will provide great networking opportunities for peers and experts.

The workshop application and registration are FREE and will accept a total of 15 participants. Eligible participants will receive a stipend for attending the workshop. Participants in the local area (e.g., Houston, College Station…) will receive $300; non-local participants but from within 150 miles (e.g., Austin, San Antonio…) will receive $600; and other participants will receive $1200.
